Break a sweat at a fitness class, get a good workout and show your teammates who’s the boss! This high-energy, corporate fitness event will bring out the friendly, competitive spirit of Canadians and offer the fun corporate team-building experience they have been searching for – all with the ultimate goal of turning type one diabetes (T1D) into type none.

Here’s how you can choose to spin: 

  • Sweat as an individual: Register and set your personal fundraising goal (the minimum suggested fundraising amount is $150) 

  • Sweat as a team: Register in teams of five people or more to share a 30-minute sweat challenge and move for a cure alongside your friends and colleagues for some friendly competition.

A:

The Individual Ride is an hour-long spin, sweat or stretch challenge that allows you to go further and compete against like-minded individuals across Canada. Although you won’t be part of a team you will still be able to challenge yourself and move for a cure with other participants virtually.

A:

There is no registration fee; however each participant taking part in the Individual Ride element has a minimum suggested fundraising amount of $150. Participants are encouraged to show their resolve and aim to raise $150 or more!

A:

We’re confident that every participant can reach the $150 fundraising level, and are pleased to offer support and advice so you can exceed this target! Those who reach or exceed the $150 amount will be eligible for fundraising rewards for their achievement.

Simply register online and set your fundraising goal. Pledge forms, online fundraising resources and coaching are all available from JDRF to support you along the way.

A:

The full event will run for 1 hour.

A:

No. Our three activities are welcome for all fitness levels. You need to set a pace that you are comfortable with; otherwise it could present a health risk.
